Live Nation and Blackbird Presents proudly introduce the BIGGEST cultural event of 2024! The Outlaw Music Festival, headlined by American icons Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan, is all geared up to hit over two dozen cities across the United States and Canada. Heartland rockstar John Mellencamp will join our main acts during the tour’s second leg, which has a stop lined up at the Hollywood Bowl this 31st day of July.

“Nelson's Outlaw Music Festival emanates a unique spirit. It attracts so many different kinds of music because so many different artists and bands are fans of Willie and wanna be a part of that scene. He transcends boundaries.”

Joined by his backing band, the Family, outlaw pioneer Willie Nelson once again leads this annual concert extravaganza — now on its EIGHTH year on the road! Still as sharp as his prime during the 70s, the 90-year-old living legend invites all to partake in his most groundbreaking work, from jukebox staples “Pretty Paper” and “Funny How Time Slips Away” to Billboard Top Country classics “Forgiving You Was Easy” and “On the Road Again.” Hear all these and MORE, sung in Nelson’s emotive “behind-the-beat” style and trademark showmanship.

“Crown Prince of Folk” Bob Dylan, meanwhile, sets up a setlist worthy of his inductions in the Rock and Roll, Songwriters, and GRAMMY Halls of Fame. Honored by the prestigious Nobel Prize for Literature, he has written some of the most beautiful prose to have ever graced the music sheets, which you’ll have the pleasure of experiencing in exquisite live detail. Savor the youthfulness of “Like a Rolling Stone,” the surrealism of “Mr. Tambourine Man,” and the revolution of “Blowin’ in the Wind” through the singer’s showcase of rustic folk-rock and roll.

Then enters John Mellencamp, hero of Heartland rock and GRAMMY Award-winning Hall of Famer, whose primal voice echoes through the annals of history to greet you on this night of beguiling outlaw music. With over 60 million records sold around the world, Mellencamp’s eclectic sound will rouse the spirit of everyone lending their ears to Hot 100 Top 10 hits, such as “R.O.C.K. in the U.S.A,” “Small Town,” “Crumblin’ Down,” and “Hurts So Good.” It is passion filtered through rootsy hard-rock compositions. Close your eyes and enjoy.

2020’s breakout country-pop performer Brittney Spencer offers her soulful voice and jukejoint swagger in a special supporting act that brims with the exuberance of her hit single “Sober & Skinny” and debut studio album My Stupid Life. In addition, the event will also present fans with the sprawling marketplace of the “Outlaw Village,” featuring world-class cuisine, clothes, merchandise, and other arts and crafts from vendors around the state.

The Hollywood Bowl, touted as one of North America’s Top 10 concert venues by Rolling Stone, will welcome 17,500 fans to the Outlaw Music Festival on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Listen to Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, and John Mellencamp’s riveting sets, elevated by our host’s electrifying ambiance and state-of-the-art acoustic technology. Buy your tickets now!
