Netflix Is A Joke Festival is returning to Los Angeles in April to supplement the already bustling summer comedy schedule with a series of performances at L.A.’s top venues. Up-and-coming star Shane Gillis will be performing at the Hollywood Bowl on Monday, May 4th as part of the months-long city-wide comedy celebration. Tickets start at $57.
Shane Gillis is one of the most original voices in the crop of young comedians coming through right now. His follow-up to 2018’s Road Train is a further demonstration of his singular brand of hard-edge observational comedy laced with brashly personal anecdotes, and he launches Beautiful Dogs. Netflix breakout debut stand-up special, in addition to being co-host of the cult favorite podcast “Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast” with comedian and writer Matt McCusker. Critically acclaimed comedian and performer, Gillis presents offbeat and surprising commentary on personal and social issues from a unique perspective with unexpected observations that resonate with a wide range of audiences.
