ORCHESTRAL MUSIC EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME: The Los Angeles Philharmonic performs Mendelssohn and Haydn under the baton of maestro Louis Langrée on TUESDAY, August 4, 2026 at the HOLLYWOOD BOWL in Los Angeles, California. Two masterworks performed by one of the country's finest orchestra in one of the world's greatest settings for a concert under the stars - the magnificent HOLLYWOOD BOWL.

Louis Langrée

The conductor for the evening will be the refined French conductor Louis Langrée. He will lead the Philharmonic in two of the greatest symphonies ever written: the Symphony No. 3 by Felix Mendelssohn and the Symphony No. 100 (Military) by Joseph Haydn. Currently the Music Director of the Cincinnati Symphony and the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, Langrée has performed with almost every major orchestra in the world. He has gained an international reputation for his compelling and insightful interpretations of music of all periods and has been praised for his passionate and expressive conducting. Born in Liège, Belgium, Langrée is a graduate of the Paris Conservatory where he studied harpsichord. He made his conducting debut in 1976.
