The SURFILMUSIC Tour is one of the most anticipated surf rock tours in 2026. Hermanos Gutiérrez

Johnson released the single Hold On To The Light with Latin instrumental band Hermanos Gutiérrez earlier this year to serve as a teaser for the announcement of his tour. The band is composed of Ecuadorian-Swiss brothers, Alejandro and Estevan Gutiérrez, who formed their band after a jamming session in Alejandro’s apartment in Zurich. Alejandro and Estevan play the electric guitar, the lap steel guitar, and percussion, and they have produced six albums since being formed in 2015.

Lake Street Dive

Another musical act in this tour is Boston’s multigenre band Lake Street Dive. They have 3.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify and are inspired by the greats like Fleetwood Mac, Jackson 5, and ABBA. As a pop soul and alt-jazz band, they know they’re Good Together with a live audience who inspire them with the energy they put on stage.

Garrett Dutton 

It was Garrett Dutton of American rock band G.Love & Special Sauce that gave Johnson a real break on the music industry. When Dutton heard Johnson’s record of Rodeo Clowns, he knew he had to include it in their Philadelphonic album in 1999. Since then, Dutton and Johnson have performed together frequently, and the SURFILMUSIC Tour allows them to reunite on stage.
