Los Angeles, The Black Parade is alive, well, and breathing heavily down your neck!

Alternative rock gods My Chemical Romance’s 2006 rock opera concept album The Black Parade featuring face-melting singles such as Welcome To The Black Parade, I Don't Love You, Mama, Disenchanted, Famous Last Words, and Teenagers flipped the music industry completely on its head when it dropped, becoming the band’s most universally adored and commercially successful album. Anybody who wasn't a fan already, became one almost overnight, and now, in 2026 the same is set to happen again. The Black Parade boasts theatrics and stagecraft second to none; the music is pure brilliance; the narrative and all its characters are oozing with richness and relevance, and themes of fascism, rebellion, death, love, and grief; and apart from incredible high-octane energy, The Black Parade is a musical experience that is rare to find.

It’s two decades after the album’s release, and due to its massive success, it’s more than fitting for My Chemical Romance to hit the road again with a special celebration and triumphant return of the iconic rock opera. The band - who the word ‘emo’ doesn’t quite encapsulate - just added some new dates to the massive celebration tour due to popular demand. The Black Parade 2026 is slated to kick off its North American leg in early August 2026 in Queens, New York, stopping off at all the nation’s major stadiums before concluding towards the end of October 2026 in Los Angeles with a trio of dates at the iconic Hollywood Bowl.
