The band signed with indie label Eyeball Records and released their debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love. by 2004, the band made their major label debut with Reprise Records and release their sophomore work The Cheers for Sweet Revenge. The record broke into the mainstream chart, peaking at number 6 on the Billboard 200. The album, which spawned the hits “I’m Not Okay” and “Helena,” sold over three million copies in the U.S. alone, making it a tumultuous commercial success. In 2006, MCR dropped their third effort The Black Parade and became their best selling effort to date. In 2010, the band released their last album , Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys.
